How to Live Your Dream
First you dream a dream, and then you live the dream and dream again.
I have found life is made up of dreams, assignments, visions and destiny given by our creator. Once you complete one assignment, you are ready for the next.
Perhaps the sadist thing to me is to see a life lived without purpose, having never fulfilled the blue print, their destiny God had for them. To reach the good old age of 60 or 70 years and find you have let the years fly by without living the dream God had for you. But, it’s not totally too late! If you are still breathing you can begin to dream and still live the dream. But first you must find it!
When I think of dreams, I think of only that which my creator had planned for me, not some dream that came to me in the night hours after eating too much pizza. A pizza dream will soon fade away and become impotent, not even a faint remembrance in your mind. But a dream given of God may seem to die for a season, but it will always come back to you over and over again.
It’s time to dream!
I am living my dream today in so many ways, but there is still a bank of God given dreams within me yet to be lived.
Journaling is an excellent way to put the meat on the bones of a dream. It seems, as you write, things become my clear. Write the vision and make it plain, easy to understand. I realize that my destiny or God given dreams and visions will need God and others. Therefore, for me to live my dream I must make it easy for others to understand and give God the opportunity to connect a team together to fulfill one of his blue prints in this old world.
I dreamed of an orphanage in Rwanda that would take little children into a place of safety. Today, I live that dream along with many many others including all 60 children, 13 staff on an acreage that looks like an oasis , or, as the President of Rwanda said, ” A gem in Rwanda.”. Was it easy to build this dream? The answer is always a resounding, NO. All dreams take hard work and faith in God.
You will reap if you faint not.
